The future Custer County Senior Center is located at 230 N. Haynes Avenue, in Miles City, formally known as the Gen. Custer Lodge.
Project renovation began October 2024.
Interior demolition concluded in April 2025.
PROJECT DETAILS: Input from the public indicated that the Custer Lodge site was the preferred location for the new Senior Center. The County was awarded a $750,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). This is a reimbursable grant to the County. South Eastern Montana Development Corp. (SEMDC) is assisting with the administration of submitting the draw requests for reimbursement.
