FEDERAL GENERAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024
Absentee and Sample Ballots for the November 5, 2024 Federal General Election will be available October 7, 2024, in the Clerk & Recorder’s office in the Courthouse, 1010 Main St., Miles City, MT 59301.
During a period beginning 30 days before Election Day and ending at noon on November 4th, a registered elector who wishes to vote absentee, for any reason, may apply to the Clerk & Recorder’s office for an absentee ballot, or come to the Custer County courthouse to vote in person. You may also register to vote and receive your ballot on Election Day.
Persons who wish to register, and who are not presently registered, may do so by requesting a registration form by mail or by appearing before the County Election Administrator. Inactive electors may reactivate by appearing at the polling place in order to vote, by requesting an absentee ballot in any election, or by notifying the County Election Administrator in writing of the elector’s current residence in the County.
